UNDERWATER EPOXY APPLICATION/CASE STUDY


We are pleased and proud to announce that one of our underwater epoxies (early version of our Wet Dry 700 (tm))was used in the restoration/reconstruction of the wood hull of the BELLE, - La Salle's ship, sunk in the year 1686. The image below shows the excavation of the ship within a cofferdam structure on the floor of Matagorda Bay along the Texas Gulf Coast.

Note: our Wet Dry 700 underwater epoxy was used to repair a 100 year old, wooden marine railway in 12 feet of water. Divers performed the underwater epoxy repair with Wet Dry 700 epoxy and 3/4 inch gravel applied into the rot removed sections of the marine railway. This saved the jobs of the 7 shipyard workers and the local fishing fleet that used the marina.
