Generally, the resin used in such a system is thinner than normal marine resin. This helps it move through the tubing used in this method. The resin tends to have a longer potlife due to the longer setup times and the larger volumes of resin used in each batch.
Progressive Epoxy Polymers, Inc. has introduced a 'slow' curing agent to our clear, basic no-blush marine epoxy. The slow curing agent makes this a good product for general use in hot weather (epoxies 'set up' faster in hot conditions) or for vacuum infusion.
